Earn more credits to access Dr. Pezzi's tips

If you want to read more of my tips and have more time than money, you can earn credits to access them by:

More info on earning tip credits by mentioning one or more of my books or web sites in your blog or some other web posting: Please note that I won't give ANY credits if your posting is spam-like! If you're posting on your blog or a web site you own, you have more freedom to favorably mention one of my books or web sites. However, Internet users generally have a very low tolerance for anything that sounds like spam that's posted on a forum, so use your good judgment.

I have several free e-books and an enormous amount of free content (and functionality) on my 20+ web sites, so you don't necessarily need to mention some product or service that people must pay to obtain.

If you have any questions before you post something, feel free to contact me.

To obtain your credits, contact me and include the link to the page mentioning one of my books or web sites. Please give me a short excerpt (a few words is fine) so that I can search for your posting, which I will review the next time I check my e-mail. A few minutes later, you will receive an e-mail from register@podcastdoc.com notifying you that you have been awarded new credits (if you have existing credits, the new ones will be added to them). Please note that the register@podcastdoc.com e-mail address is sent by an automated outgoing-only message system, so DO NOT REPLY TO IT.

FAQs on earning tip credits by giving me a license to use your photos that you send to me:

Q: How do I submit the photos to you?

A: If you already have them posted on a web page, contact me and give me the link to it. If there are some photos you don't want me to use, indicate which ones. Alternatively, you can send the photos to me via e-mail. Contact me to get the e-mail address to send them to. When I respond, I'll give you the link to the license you must agree to.

Q: Any restrictions on the photos?

A: Yes. They must be of you and taken by you (e.g., using your camera's self-timer) or, if they aren't taken by you, the photographer must also sign the photo release. If other people are in the photo, they must also sign the release. All people signing the release must be adults over the age of 18.

Q: Do I have to be beautiful?

A: Not necessarily. While I am more likely to use photographs of attractive people, I sometimes need photos of people who are less attractive—even ugly, in some cases.

Q: Will I definitely earn credits by submitting pictures to you?

A: No. I can use only quality photos: sharply focused and generally with good lighting. My books or web sites cover a wide variety of topics (ER stories, health, medicine, brainpower, school, college, weight loss, beauty, dating, relationships, sex, politics, the economy, homes, home security, home storage, computers, computer programming, anti-spam, and much more), so there's a good chance that I can use your photos. If you look at my books and web sites, you're bound to get an idea of what type of photos I could use. I am interested in photos of people, not things, unless you have a photo of something that is very unusual.

Q: Can I restrict how you use my photos?

A: Yes, but you will obtain fewer (or no) credits for photos that come with restrictions. If you want to restrict how I use the photos (e.g., for certain books or web sites), you must explicitly state that when you first submit the photos or the link to them. Also, all photo licenses are for permanent (non-revokable) usage.

Q: How many tip credits can I earn?

A: There is no limit. I have thousands of tips to add to this site, so you may want to earn many credits.

Q: Do you award one credit per photo?

A: Generally more than that, and sometimes much more than that. The exact number depends on the quality of your photo and how useful it will be to me. I am the only one who can judge the latter factor, so you'll have to trust me to be fair about the number of credits I award. I will do my best to be generous, but I won't award credits for photos that I cannot use.
